Explore Kyrgyzstan – Day by Day
We depart on our journey toward Bishkek.
We arrive in Bishkek. Today we take time to explore the capital city at a relaxed pace and acclimatize in preparation for an active start the next day.
After breakfast, we transfer to Chungkurchak. There, we join a photography workshop with Kiyiz Duino, featuring traditional yurts and nomad men and women in cultural dress.
In the late afternoon, we continue our transfer to Chong-Kemin.
We continue to Cholpon-Ata, stopping along the way to visit the scenic Kok-Moinok canyons.
Upon arrival in Cholpon-Ata, we enjoy a walk in the surrounding area.
Today is dedicated to landscape and nomadic life photography. We capture the essence of Kyrgyz nomad culture in its natural setting.
Overnight: Yurt camp
After an early breakfast, we travel to Sary-Jaz, focusing on landscape photography throughout the day.
From Sary-Jaz, we travel toward Karakol, stopping for landscape photography along the way.
We arrive in the evening and stay overnight in Karakol.
After breakfast, we head to Bokonbaevo. In the morning, we photograph landscapes in Jeti-Oguz. In the afternoon, we visit Mars Canyon for an action-packed photo session of nomad warriors.
Overnight: Guesthouse
Today we focus on photographing the majestic golden eagles of Bokonbaevo.
We travel to Songkol Lake. After lunch, we join a photography session in the yurt camp featuring Kok-Boru, the traditional Kyrgyz horseback game.
In the evening, we head out for landscape photography.
Overnight: Yurt camp
We photograph a sheep and horse parade and capture the morning life of local herders. In the afternoon, we return to Bishkek and conclude the journey with a farewell dinner at a local restaurant.
Sadly, our journey comes to an end. We take our return flight to Brussels or Amsterdam, or another destination of your choice.
